Exploring Chicago's Magnificent Mile

Calling all shoppers! The Magnificent Mile has some of the best shopping scenes in the United States, with the world’s most luxurious retailers. Names like Cartier, Saint Laurent, Dior, and Balenciaga are but a few of the brands you can expect to find on the streets. However, do not be dismayed if these brands are too expensive because there is shopping for every budget here. From Macy’s to unique boutique shops, you’re bound to find something on the Magnificent Mile.

For a unique and one-stop shopping experience, head over to Water Tower Place, a shopping center with over 100 stores. Keep an eye out for seasonal sales–you might just score an amazing deal!

Dining Delights

An empty stomach won’t do you any good while you’re traveling through the Magnificent Mile. Plenty of options can be found, from fancy sit-down restaurants to cozy cafes. Feeling fancy? Try Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse, with prime steaks, chops, and Italian favorites in a classic steakhouse setting. For some true Chicago deep-dish pizza, head over to Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, where you can try a variety of pizza creations. Regardless of where you go, you will find something appetizing right at your fingertips. 

Attractions Galore

Several museums are open for your entertainment, including the Museum of Ice Cream, where you can rediscover your inner child. They have a sprinkle pool just waiting for you to jump into, or ice cream-themed activities, with all the ice cream your heart desires. As the seasons change, so does the Magnificent Mile.
