Planning a special event or weekend getaway?

Reservations

High season is April through December

Check-in time is 1:00pm-5:00pm (Guaranteed by 3:00 PM). You are welcome to arrive at the Villa earlier than 1:00pm, but we can not guarantee that your room will be ready until 3:00pm. You will receive a text to the phone number on file the morning of travel; if reply with your ETA and you request EARLY Check-in, we will put your suite on Priority for $50. (You'll receive an email the night before your travel, around dinner time, which will have your special code for the gate, the front door, and your suite, so be sure to be on the lookout for that and watch the EAZY Auto Check-INN video that accompanies it.)

Check-out time is at 11:00am.  On your departure date you are welcome to stay at the Villa during the day or place your luggage in the front library area--we just need to have your luggage out of the room by 11:00am so that we can get your room ready for our next incoming guest. During your stay, the guests which are on the reservation and the Qty of occupants that have paid are the ONLY ones allowed in the Suite or on the Villa Premises, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Villa Mngmnt.

Villa Breakfast

Start your day with a cup of our Villa house blend coffee made exclusively for us by Intelligentsia.  Our Villa house blend is so delectable that our guests often order a bag to take home with them! In addition to our fabulous coffee, other beverages provided at the Villa include orange juice, ice tea, lemonade, and hot tea.

WEEKDAYS
Continental Breakfast is available from 6 am to 10 am offering "Gonella" Muffins with Nutella or Cream cheese, English muffins and Belgian waffles with choice of Nutella, syrup, strawberries, blueberries, fresh apples & bananas and more.

(Our staff Gina, Jan, Edith and Rosa will be on-site offering various breakfast delights daily ranging from fresh fruit carvings, egg medelies, and on Tuesday it's Taco Tuesday!!)

WEEKENDS

Served Coffee and prepared dish, House blend brewed at 7:00 am and breakfast 8:00 am-ish

FRIDAY: Sicilian Sausage & Veggie/Egg Breakfast Pizza "Roman Style". Top with Italian hot-sauces and house made Giardiniera! (Cannoli for Desert!)

SATURDAY: Apple Cinnamon French Toast Casserole with a side of thick cut Applewood Bacon. (Greek yogurt & granola Parfaits)

SUNDAY: Sicilian Breakfast Lasagna & over-easy eggs to top off. Italian Hot-Sauces, Giardiniera and toasted Italian bread recommended to pair. (Cannoli for Desert!)

(On weekends all continental offerings are available from 6am-11am)

Banana bread and/or coffee cake prepared daily. 

Mid-Day to Midnight Snacks at the Villa

Guests at the Villa have access to the kitchen round the clock.  Whether grabbing a piece of fruit, Italian biscotti, a cup of coffee, or tea. There is always something available to enjoy. 

The Villa has been well known for its Italian deli drawer packed with hard salamis, ham, and imported cheese (swiss, provolone, and mozzarella) that you may arrange with fresh, hot, or sweet peppers, veggies, then season, oil, and top on fresh, Italian bread from D'amato's Bakery. Perhaps butter, and throw on the Villa panini press. 

The Villa gourmet kitchen and dining room may be rented out exclusively for private events, cooking classes, dinner w/ friends or simply a romantic dinner for you and your guest. Price varies on number of hours and season. 

Rates

May vary during special events and are subject to change without notice.  Minimum nights stays may be required.

Parking

If you plan on driving to the Villa or renting a car, parking is available on Halsted Street but one can not be assured of finding a spot. As such, we are also happy to provide secure parking in our garage at $40 per day or Valet $55 per day.  Please call us to reserve a space and receive directions to our garage.

Villa Bike Rentals

Enjoy exploring Lincoln Park and all over Chicagoland with one of our Villa Bikes.  The price is $35 for the day and we provide you with a helmet and lock for your bike excursion.  Bikes are available on a first come basis,  so please call ahead to reserve your bike!

Single Night Bookings

Are welcome and nonrefundable. Deposit of one night’s rate confirms a reservation.  Minimum two-three night stay on weekends and three-four night stay on certain weekends or Holidays.

Cancellation Policy

Single night reservations are nonrefundable and charged at the time they are made. For multiple night reservations, a minimum of one night plus tax and fees is charged to your card to hold your reservation, with the balance due no later than a month before arrival.  Should you need to cancel, the cost of one night stay will be a non-refundable charge to your card. If you need to cancel it must be prior to 30 days before your arrival or the Final Balance will be collected and a refund will not be issued. You must call for your reservation to be canceled. Travel Insurance may be purchased at time of booking. The cancellation policy for group reservations - any reservation for 2 or more rooms and/or suites or reservations for more than 4 nights- is more restrictive unless discussed at the time the reservation is made. By providing the payment card billing zip code and reserving a room at Villa D' Citta you agree to all the terms and conditions.

Security deposit for Mansion rentals and special events

For Mansion rentals and/or special events held at the Villa, a security deposit of $1000 is required.  The security deposit will be returned after the event is over.  Any and all damages or missing items will be deducted from the security deposit and may exceed the deposit amount.  For larger events such as a Mansion rental, the security deposit will be forfeited should the event be cancelled. In addition, should the event be cancelled in less than 90 days of the event, payment of any remaining balance must be paid in full. 

A Credit Card is required to confirm your reservation. 

There is absolutely no smoking within the building and not in any of our rooms. A $200 smoking fee will be charged to your room rate for any smoking. As a courtesy to all of our guests, please be mindful by keeping the noise level down after hours when guests are trying to get to sleep.

For the Milan, Grand Tuscan, and Capone's Cantina

Indoor Hot Tubs/ Bath may NOT be used 6:00 AM-11:00 AM while other Guests at the Villa while getting ready for the day!

Property of the Villa

The Villa property is taken care of by our staff at a level 10. Rough-housing in the hot-tub, wine spilt on rugs, bedding, curtains, and/or other ruining of Villa property will be taken into account and you will be assessed a fine appropriate to accommodate damages.
